The factory intake is on the passenger side of left-hand-drive Foresters, so this is our recommended setup for future intake ducting. For a right-hand-drive car or relocated intake, choose the opening on the actual intake side.

Open backs are duct-ready. Intake ductwork is not included.

DrivenByMas starts with the cars we actually drive. Design a part, put it on a real vehicle, live with it, then keep making it better.

Our ABS prototypes have spent roughly a year on the car. This first production batch is the next step: real owners, real fitment feedback, and a foundation for what's next.

What's next for DBM

The Forester is just the beginning. Our long-term goal is to develop vehicle-specific aftermarket parts for more Subaru models and other makes, using 3D scanning, in-house design, and real-world fitment testing.

Every future project will follow the same approach: prototype it, test it on a real vehicle, and refine it with feedback from the people who drive it. Follow along as DrivenByMas grows beyond our first release.

Are these replacement fog lights?

No. They replace the factory fog-light assemblies with intake-style rams and LED accent lighting. They are not intended to provide conventional fog-light road illumination.

Has this kit been tested with non-USDM front bumpers?

This kit has only been tested with USDM (U.S.-market) front bumpers. Fitment with JDM, other-market, or aftermarket front bumpers has not been verified. Contact support@drivenbymas.com before ordering if you are unsure which bumper your vehicle has.

Which rear configuration should I choose?

We recommend passenger side open / driver side closed because the factory intake is on the passenger side of left-hand-drive Foresters. This leaves that side duct-ready for a future intake setup. It is also our default configuration. You can choose both open, both closed, or passenger closed / driver open to suit your build. For a right-hand-drive car or relocated intake, choose the opening on the actual intake side. Intake ductwork is not included.

Will I need to cut or splice any wiring?

The kit is designed to plug into the factory Forester fog-light electrical connections and operate from the factory fog-light control. No cutting or splicing should be required.

Are the pictured brackets included?

The brackets shown in the photos are not included. Reuse the factory brackets from your vehicle.

Does the price include both sides?

Yes. The listed price is for one kit containing driver- and passenger-side assemblies, connectors, mounting hardware, an instruction card, and a free DBM sticker.

When will my order ship?

What happens when Batch 1 sells out?

Batch 1 is limited to 20 kits across all options. When this run sells out, follow our restock updates for the next release.
